FREE FOOD ON CAMPUS
Have you ever gotten something free and it is automatically way better than the exact same thing if you had paid for it? Free things are just better, and there is no denying that. It is hard to say no to someone who is just offering you something (even if it is something you don't need) for free. Now imagine the best possible combination of free things AND food! This is really the ideal situation. So join the Free Food at McGill Facebook page and never let yourself be out of the loop again. This wonderful page is a prime example of community at McGill in which people post various free food events and handouts that are happening on campus and around Montreal. Never miss out! SAMOSATOPIA
Ever wonder why you see so many people casually walking around campus with fresh samosas? Where are they all getting them from? My first year at McGill I walked around in a constant state of wonder as saw more and more people enjoying their samosas but failed to find the source of these delicious treats. Many clubs and charities at McGill raise money by selling samosas around campus - the tricky part is that they are never in the same location. But Samosatopia is a twitter page in which students can post where the samosas will be sold that day and in what they are in support of. This tasty snack is easy to eat on the go and convenient to find. To check out the page - click here |
